The Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation (Africa) was established during the 2020 Annual Global CESE Summit which saw over 25,000 attendees from 115 countries. CESE Africa is a loose-knit coalition that includes multi- and interdisciplinary role-players on the African continent including policy workers, researchers, community leaders, and advocates addressing child sexual abuse, gender-based violence, sex trafficking, and more. Our vision is to defend the dignity and safety of our people against the harms of pornography and its links to all forms of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation.
The role-players that encompass CESE Africa have a longstanding history, institutional knowledge, and frontline experience in combating the full spectrum of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation on the African continent. From an international perspective, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) and the International Centre on Sexual Exploitation (ICOSE), serve as amplification for the work of CESE Africa.
