Letter to Virginia House of Delegates: Say NO to Online Child Predators & HB 2254

Virginia's House of Delegates' Committee for Courts of Justice approved a bill on Wednesday, 1/27/21, that creates a mere MISDEMEANOR charge for adults who send pictures of their genitalia to children, with the intent to "coerce, harass, or intimidate." THIS IS A GREEN LIGHT FOR SEXUAL PREDATORS! We are in the midst of a virtual epidemic of adult male predators attempting to groom children into inappropriate sexual encounters by sending graphic pictures of themselves. This letter calls on leadership of the House of Delegates to VOTE NO on HB 2254 and and amend it.
